Service Description

Sapranah Vasanta Viṣuva Spring Equinox Immersion Friday | 6.00-9.00pm The Spring Equinox, known in Sanskrit as Viṣuva, marks a moment of perfect balance. Day and night stand equal, while the Sun continues its northward journey, Uttarāyaṇa, carrying us steadily toward lighter days. Vasanta Viṣuva is a pause within that movement. A place of equilibrium before momentum builds. A moment to harmonise body, breath, and awareness. This three-hour Friday evening immersion is an invitation to consciously inhabit balance through movement, breath, and meditation, held in the grounded, intuitive style of Sapranah. The evening will unfold as a gentle arc, we will begin with movement, guided through a flowing yoga sequence that weaves yin and yang qualities. Passive and active postures will interlace, inviting both steadiness and vitality, softness and strength. The practice will feel fluid, embodied, and responsive, rather than fixed or forceful. Prāṇāyāma and breath awareness will be interwoven throughout the movement, gradually deepening as the evening progresses. From there, we will transition into a more focused prāṇāyāma practice, allowing the nervous system to settle and the breath to become a bridge between body and mind. The evening will then move into meditation. This will be a guided, poignant meditation, designed to integrate the themes of balance, harmony, and equilibrium, and to offer space for quiet listening rather than effort or analysis. We will close by sharing simple nourishment, offered as a grounding and connective end to the practice, supporting integration and gentle return. The essence of this offering: This is an evening about integration rather than intensity. It is about: Harmonising movement and stillness Balancing yin and yang within the body Preparing gently for the rising energy of spring Meeting change with steadiness rather than urgency You do not need to know exactly what will happen. You are invited to trust the process, as many do, and allow the practice to unfold. Spaces are limited. Booking is essential.
