Sapranah Surya Daksinayanavasana

Sunday, December 21, 2025

15:00-18:00

Leek Wootton Village Hall

As the year draws toward its quiet close, we gather to honour the still point of the sun’s descent, the Winter Solstice. In Sanskrit, Dakṣiṇāyana marks the sun’s southward journey, the turning of light toward darkness before its slow return.

Following the expansive brightness of our Sapranah Surya Summer Solstice gathering, this offering invites you into its counterpart, a soft, slow, and deeply restorative afternoon to nourish body, mind, and spirit before the season ahead.

Sapranah Surya

Our Summer Solstice celebration, took place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Leek Wootton Village Hall.

We honoured the sun’s zenith with a soulful vinyasa flow, pranayama, restorative postures, and a solar Yoga Nidra, guiding participants to their inner sun.

The evening concluded with a cacao ceremony, uniting us in community and reverence. It was a profound pilgrimage of light, breath, and fire.

Join our Sapranah Sharing Circle for a cozy evening of remembrance by candlelight. Share stories, poems, or silence; listening is sacred. Enjoy Ayurvedic teas, cacao, and nibbles in a relaxed, welcoming space. Bring a token to honor loved ones. Dress comfortably for a peaceful, authentic night of community and reflection.

Sapranah Visuva Candra

Our New Moon & Autumn Equinox event, took place on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Hill Close Gardens, Warwick.

On the new moon and equinox, we journeyed inward through shaking meditation, pranayama, voice, and mantra, embracing stillness and sankalpa.

An Ayurvedic Tridoṣic meal, crafted by a skilled caterer, sealed the practice, nourishing body and spirit. Viṣuva Candra was a pause to honor balance, darkness, and new beginnings in community.
