Hannah McMartin

Hannah has been teaching Yoga for over 2 years, but her love affair with Yoga began around 7 years ago when she lived and worked in London. Burnt out and overwhelmed, Hannah used yoga as a tool to support her mental health and now loves to help others explore the life-changing magic of Yoga. Her true sense of purpose has evolved over the past few years as she continues to explore her personal practice alongside teaching her students. Her mat is her safe place; to feel grounded, supported, uplifted and challenged. It’s a true privilege to hold that same space for students as they explore and uncover how powerful the practice of yoga is.

All of Hannah’s classes are rooted in connection - to the breath, body, to others in the space. Each practice encourages students to use their intuition to guide their body, encouraging a sense of connection. Each session is carefully designed to leave you feeling grounded and calmer.

As well as teaching yoga, Hannah is a registered Nutritionist, supporting women through hormonal challenges including menopause, thyroid disorders and PMS. She also specialises in chronic fatigue, burn out and anxiety, and is passionate on educating women about the importance of gut health for hormonal and mental wellbeing. A holistic approach to health is at the centre of all of Hannah’s practices, whether in a group or individual setting.

Hannah offers an energising Vinyasa flow and a restful restorative yoga. Both offering a different way to explore your physical, mental and energetic bodies, enabling you rest and rejuvenation. Pulling on her understanding of anatomy and physiology, particularly of the endocrine, adrenal and nervous systems, you’ll find classes designed to nourish and reset the natural rhythms of the body.

Hannah's Sessions

Tuesday | 18:00 - 19:10 | Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa flow is a strong, energetic style of Yoga that connects breath with movement through a series of carefully curated postures to generate heat in the body. This heat enables a subtle shift in energetic, physical and emotional states to guide you towards a feeling of connection, contentment and presence. Whatever you’re carrying with you that day, Hannah creates a powerful space to support you in finding a sense of stability; one which you can take off the mat, to support you in your daily life.

Classes are suitable for all levels, with options given to support different abilities and any injuries you might be working with.

Tuesday | 19:20 - 20:30 | Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a very gentle, passive style of Yoga, designed to help you find a moment of calm and rest from the world outside. In a society where busyness is often celebrated, the practice of restorative yoga invites you to slow down and to embrace how nourishing blending gentle postures with breathwork and meditation truly is for the nervous system. In this practice, there’s no need for physical strength. It’s an invitation to your body and mind to simply be, supported by a range of comfortable props to take you to that dreamy place of in between awake and sleep. The addition of yoga nidra is the perfect way to end the session, to support sleep, anxiety and stress.
