The Wisdom of Water.......

Sapranah | Tides of Return
Okreblue Eco Yoga Retreat - Paros, Greece
September 12th - 18th September 2027

Held beside the Aegean Sea on the island of Paros, this six-night Sapranah retreat is an invitation to immerse yourself in the wisdom of water.

To soften.
To flow.
To breathe more deeply.
To move with greater ease, fluidity, openness, and presence.

Surrounded by sea, sky, and the mythology of the Greek islands, you will practise within beautiful shalas designed for yoga, stillness, movement, and connection. Warm salt air, softened light, long evenings, and the natural rhythm of island life become part of the retreat experience itself.

Throughout the week, you will be guided through intelligently sequenced Sapranah yoga flows, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Prāṇāyāma, meditation, Nāda Yoga, embodied practices, wellness talks, sea-side stillness, and spacious time for rest and reflection.

The practices themselves will embody the qualities of water:
fluidity, adaptability, sensitivity, intuition, rhythm, softness, strength, and movement without force.

There will be stronger more dynamic practices for those who want them, alongside gentler practices designed to restore, soften, and settle the nervous system. Everything is invitational.

To practise beside the sea is powerful.

To move with the breath whilst surrounded by water, warmth, salt air, and open sky invites a different quality of presence into both body and mind. The retreat honours the relationship between the water around you and the water within you.

The sea becomes part of the rhythm of the retreat itself:
salt air, softened evenings, open skies, slow mornings, movement, stillness, solitude, connection, and the quiet remembering of what it feels like simply to be.

This retreat offers space both for inward reflection and gentle connection with others walking beside you for a short while along the same shoreline.

“The highest goodness is like water.
Water gives life to the ten thousand things and does not strive.”
— Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching, Chapter 8
