Clizia Dosanjh

I’ve always been a very active and creative person and I discovered the discipline of Hatha Yoga when I was 16, during a very delicate time in my life. Throughout the years, my practice became my personal immovable rock in difficult times, starting to root so deeply within me that now I wouldn’t feel complete without it.

In 2010 I moved from Italy to Leamington Spa and encountered Kundalini Yoga, in which I completed my Level 1 in 2012. During this very transforming year of my life, this discipline taught me Sadhana - a dedicated practice of learning - and commitment. My life values shifted and my internal world started to shape on renewed trust, slowly stripping down the conditioning of old beliefs.

In the following years I kept exploring different types of yoga, which led me to complete my 200hrs Integral Hatha & Vinyasa YTT in Greece in 2016. Here I was also introduced to both Aerial & Yin Yoga in order to deepen the work on the physical body, unlocking stagnant energy and changing old body-mind patterns.

Since then, I’ve been teaching regular classes in both Warwick and Leamington, whilst also holding a monthly meet up called Women Moon Gathering - usually held during the New Moon phase - side to side with my sister-in-law, Hari Shabd.

My style of teaching is an harmonious balance between asana and movements from various disciplines, breath awareness and precise alignment to allow the energy in the body to flow more fluidly, simply leaving you to enjoy a feeling of deep nourishment, inner space and connection within body, mind & spirit.

I also love to draw and paint, using colours as therapy and healing tools to uncover and explore myself in more depth. This time I spend painting makes me feel connected and joyful, and in 2015 I joined Talenthouse, an organisation that collaborates with creative people all over the world.
